Tribute to Democratic District Leader Barbara Jackson

District Leader Hon. Barbara Jackson, 35 AD “Part B” was memorialized for her years of leadership and diligently serving Queens.
Many elected officials, community leaders, and members of the Democratic Association of the 21st C political club she founded joined to pay deserving tribute to her.
BJ as many refer her as, passed away Dec.31 2020 on New Year eve.
Present at this event included NYS Assemblyman Jeffrion Aubry, Queens DA Melinda Katz, Queens Borough President Donovan Richards, Hon. George Dixon, others in attendance included Sylvia Martins- President of LeFrak City Friends of the Library, George Onuorah community and civic leader and staunch member of the Democratic Club of the 21st C. Speaking at the event New York Assemblyman Jeffrion Aubry said, “She is one of a kind not to be replaced.” The loyalty, dedication, and commitment she had to this community.” Said Malinda Katz, the District Attorney, Queens.

This event was held outdoor at Silver Spoon Diner 5821 Junction Blvd, Elmhurst Queens, 11373. Silver Spoon coincidentally has been the venue for most of the meetings held by the club under the leadership of BJ.
Elected democratic district leader, Hon. Michelle Dunston, Maureen Allen, and Hersh Parek were the organizer of the event where dozens of democratic club members, family, and friends joined to pay tribute to Barbara.
