Nepal’s covid-19 update: Recovery rate increases to 94.5 percent

A total of 1,875 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in Nepal in the past 24 hours. According to the data released by the Ministry of Health and Population this evening, 1,875 news cases have been detected from different parts of the country among 10,504 tests carried out, including 5,374 RT-PCR and 5130 Antigen tests in various laboratories across the country. This raises the total number of infected to 651,380 through RT-PCR test and 41,469 through Antigen tests.
On the other hand, 1,286 people recovered from COVID-19, taking the total recoveries to 615,613, which shows the recovery rate has increased to 94.5 percent.
The number of deaths reached 29 in the past 24 hours, bringing the COVID-19 death toll to 9,320 across the country.
