Dr. Pranaya Rana is an academic as well as a practitioner of conflict resolution and peace. He is an experienced professional with practical research and evaluation, organizational assessment and efficacy, social services, and public health background. He has 16 plus years of experience in diverse professions and has provided consultancy services to the Military, Federal/local-level agencies, and NGOs and INGOs in professional military education (PME), elections monitoring and local governance, data management, conflict management, and public health. He specializes in creating research-based designs and models to produce data-driven solutions geared toward enhancing agency operations and outcomes. His Ph.D. dissertation studied the impact of organizational capital (human and social capital) on program deliverables/outcomes using the case of United States Refugee Resettlement Program (USRP). Most recently, he was a Public Sector Consultant at Guidehouse (formerly PWC) supporting Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), a US federal agency. He is currently providing freelance consulting and educational services in Nepal and USA.
